We decided to head north in June of 2022 and visit Ontario for some world-class fishing.  We worked with Slate Falls Outposts out of Sioux Lookout to schedule a vacation that my 12-year-old son self-proclaimed on day 2 as being a bucket list trip!   

No cell phone service, no internet, no TV, just a lot of fish and fun.  It is pretty fun being dropped off by a float plane and not seeing anyone else for the four days of fishing.  I think we ate walleye for almost every meal over four days and the experience was second to none. 

Slate Falls Outposts did a great job.  Visit https://slatefallsoutposts.com/. They gave us great advice on what to bring, where to fish, and dropped in once to check on us and make sure there wasn’t anything we needed.  We’ll be booking another trip soon!
