Getting ready for the North Dakota Spring Turkey season reminded me that I also hadn’t written anything about last Fall’s great hunting season.  My son and I got out almost every weekend from mid-September through mid-December chasing ducks, geese, pheasants, and deer.

2021 might not have been our most successful year ever based on what we put in the freezer, but it was memorable in so many other ways.  My favorite part was that our deer camp Friday night dinner was back to almost full capacity after a slimmed down Covid year in 2020. 

Our plans for 2022 are to ramp up our number of days in the field starting with a spring turkey hunt!
