For the first camping trip of 2020, my son and I decided to venture west to Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park (our favorite). We had a great time and pretty much had the entire park to ourselves. Not sure if the lack of people was due to covid-19 or the fact we were there on a Tuesday in early Summer. This park has it all, a great location on the river, a ton of history, and numerous great hiking/biking trails.
To top off our short one-night adventure we also booked a guide to take us fishing on the Missouri River that Wednesday morning. By lunch we had limited out on walleyes and were back on the road to home. A special thanks to Mike Upgren from Reel Fishing Guides.
